Square up rulers from Creative Grids have a useful Turn-A-Round Feature that allow you to cut ½" measurements, then just rotate to cut ¼", ½" or whole inches.
CG's 9 ½" Square ruler has easy-to-read markings in black and white that are printed in 1ÂÂ grids, marked in 1/8" and 1/4" increments. Dashed lines are printed 1/4" away from edges to aid in trimming your seam allowances. Other markings include a 45° angle and centre marks.
